MY SLCC YEARS

I was at St. Louis Christian College from January of 1997 until May of 2001. I had to go from full-time to part-time in order to free up time to help take care of my mother who had Alzheimer's. I obtained an A.A. Degree in General Studies with an emphasis on the Bible. I also served as Dorm Mom from June of 1997 until I graduated. The last year I worked a part-time job off campus for CWBA or Christian Women's Benevolent Assn., the parent organization for a 180-bed nursing home. 

I put out a monthly newsletter for the girls in the dorms called The Wallpaper. My last name is Wall, as you've probably noticed. I've had six articles published in the Christian Standard, 3 before I got to the college and 3 afterwards. I wrote an article for each of the newsletters. Several of them I've included in my blog (beckyowall.blogspot.com). 

I have well over 200 writings in my blog which includes poetry and articles. I have taken each of the main stories in the Old Testament and put them to rhyme. I would like to assemble them in a book and have it published in the future but I am now 76 and my health has deteriorated. I can still write, though, and I will continue writing for the Lord, whatever He inspires me to write about.
